Google’s new version of Android will be available to developers starting today, when they’ll be able to install it on the Nexus 5, 6, 9, and Player to start trying it out. Android M includes a number of important and interesting changes to the operating system, including a mobile payments system and more intuitive app permissions. The OS will likely receive a public release this fall, but Google is releasing this preview now so that developers can make sure their apps run properly and take advantage of the latest features.
