OpenAI appears to have closed its deal with Apple.
Apple spoke with both OpenAI and Google about “integrating their chatbots into iOS 18,” according to Bloomberg, but it looks like OpenAI won out. The pair plan to announce the news at Apple’s developer conference, WWDC.
The Information confirmed, per a source, that the deal has been secured, adding that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is concerned about how it could conflict with their partnership.
